I have submited my application at the begining of November and just two interview ?is it because I applied late?

While it is hard to say without knowing your credentials, one of the factors is applying late since most programs have so many applications by that time that they just do not have the as much interest to go through new applications. You can still call around and offer to be available for interviews on short notice etc. All the best.
