how much money and time are people wasting in ERAS fees?

So, based on the above input from a program coordinator, 40-50% of the programs people are applying are programs that will just trash the applications simply because they did not meet the criteria!

While ERAS fees vay, it can be upto $25 on each program, depending on the number of programs - (the more programs you apply, the more you pay!) It is not only a waste of time, but it gives you a false sense of security and can potentially lead to the common mistake many applicants make - learn the intricacies by way of mistakes and potentially wasting an year of their carreer time! You can save a lot if you apply wisely!

Is it all the latest info?

Yes it is, and I personally know most of these programs, as I went though the process myself and this list is one of the most upto date out there.

It is not a list as such since it is more than 50 pages with a lot of info, links organized in tables according to state and it should rightly be called an EBOOK!

How accurate is the info?
We constantly check them by contacting the programs and updating the info. You can actually check them easily by refering to the email response from the program, or a direct link to the program's website. While t is virtually impossible to claim 100% due to the changing nature of program requirements without notice, the info really is very accurate!

Why is it so cheap with all the residency program's info when compared to services like imgexperts?
Because we do not have to live by making profits out of it! YOUR interest goes ahead of any commercial interest and we see how others sell a few pieces of infomation on 50 program's sold for 50 bucks out of which only 10 of them may actually be the programs you are looking for based on visa sponsorship etc! As an IMG, I have gone through this process myself and I know that I would not buy those lists with so little info for so much!

Why do I need to subscribe?
If you have a hundreds of hours of your time is worth less than what it costs here, you can do it yourself. But otherwise, it is more than worth it! And calling 400 progams costs more in telphone charges, not to speak of the frustration involved in getting the busy program coordinator to say hello before she tries to cut you off! Try calling 10 programs in a day and you will know how frustrating an experience it is!

Is this only for IMG's that need a visa?

IMG's may be subject to a few additional requirements such as ECFMG certificate but everybody should meet the minimum requirements. We provide much more than the minimum requirements and it saves your time so that you can quckly check the requirements before sending the application in ERAS. It is meant for both American Graduates and IMG's. With the inforamation arranged in tables by state, it is easy to compare one program with the other!

I am preparing for other exams and finding it hard to call all the programs to know the program requirements?

Like the old saying - Time is money! If you have a several hundred hours, you can call the programs up or email them. Not all of them respond for emails and you pay more in phone bills than what you pay here! It is actually worth over 500 dollars for each specialty and the current prices are introductory and subject to change.
